Venison Sloppy Joe Burritos

Uses: Fun and easy meal to have anytime

Inspirations: This is a meal I would have made in college (if I was a deer hunter)

Serves: 4

  • 1 pound of ground Venison
  • Half of a small yellow onion
  • .25 of green bell pepper
  • 2 large cloves of garlic
  • 1 can of Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • 1 pack of large flour tortillas
  • 1 T of Rolfe Rub
  • Sour cream
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Dices tomatoes
  • Diced jalapenos
  • Shredded cheese

  • Chop up all veggies and garlic and sauté in oil or butter
  • Add meat and brown together until meat is done
  • Add the Rolfe Rub
  • Drain off the grease
  • Add the Manwich and combine

  • Lay out flour tortilla
  • Spread on bottom half – sour cream
  • Add tomatoes, jalapenos, lettuce, jalapeno and cheese
  • Add a healthy scoop of the sloppy joe mixture
  • Roll up the burrito (google on how to perfect the roll)
  • Not necessary, but I put a bit of Taco Bell sauce on top)
  • enjoy
